Hi, I’m Emily!  I love teaching and love creating even more.   I am on my eleventh year of teaching and have taught ten and half of those years in third grade.  I am originally from North Carolina, but “settled” in Charleston, SC twelve years ago.  Not a bad place to “settle.”  I am a graduate of North Caroline State and an avid fan of Wolfpack football.  When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family, especially at the beach.   My husband and I have three kids.  One sweet  and brilliant 10 year old girl, a 4 year old wild boy and a little snuggly 1 year old boy.    Needless to say we are BUSY, BUSY, BUSY.  We hope you enjoy all we have to offer and please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi!  Thanks for checking out our blog!  My name is Kerry and I’m a third grade teacher in Charleston, South Carolina.  I am a proud Virginia Tech Hokie and huge college football fan! I've taught for ten awesome years (grades 1-3).  I absolutely love teaching and can’t imagine doing anything else!  I'm also a lover of: reading blogs, coffee, the beach, yoga, sauvignon blanc, lipgloss, JCrew, flats, Bravo TV, brunch, NYC, cooking, entertaining, decorating, church, my friends, & my family. :)  I’m lucky to live in the most wonderful city with my precious new rescue pup named Libby.  Here she is being all fabulous----brindle is the new black!
