I had to link up with Cara from First Grade Parade for her Favorite Pins Linky. What an awesome idea! I basically need Pinterest Anonymous because the dream world sucks me in every single time. :)
Favorite TEACHING related ideas:
First up, the adorable birthday board from Erica Bohrer. I can't wait to try this on my classroom door!
Look at this awesome task card storage from Task Card Corner. I desperately need to get organized this year and I think this is a great way to manage cards during Guided Math.
I also love this idea for the first day of school. What kind of teacher do you want? It's from Following My Heart to First.
Favorite CLOTHING/JEWELRY related pins
Most of my pins look this from Polyvore (is that the original??). Basic, neutral, and classic.
But then I saw these guys, and I thought it may be time to branch out. They could be fun with a little tank and wedges? Usually when I see something trendy, I hesitate to buy it and then inevitably give in. Case in point-the high/low dress, the chambray shirt, the cross shoulder bag, etc. So maybe this time I'll be ahead of the curve? Or maybe just the weird girl rocking crazy pants in Charleston, South Carolina?
Onto my favorite HOME pins for this week:
I have to recreate this white dresser turned TV stand from Two Twenty One. I'm currently on the hunt for a Craigs List beauty that needs a makeover because I think this one is absolutely perfect. And look at that cute pup!
I'm loving the idea of a bar cart/bar area. Here is one from Haute Indoor Couture. This one is super glam, but I think a vintage bar cart would be amazing, too. I just want to jump in this pic and pour a drink for a bunch of fabulous friends!
Last, but certainly not least...here are my favorite COOKING pins. I actually cook most of the dishes on my Pinterest page. If I don't like something after I've made it, I immediately delete it. So most of the recipes you see on my page are the real deal and get my stamp of approval. :)
I made these Chicken Alfredo Roll-Ups on Wednesday night and then dreamed about them until it was time for lunch on Thursday. Soooo good!
I made these tomatoes last week on vacation and they were the perfect summer dinner. Pair them with some wine/cheese and you are all set for a light bite!
Finally, we made this tasty Shrimp with Feta dish earlier in the week. In my book, Ina Garten can do no wrong! This was a great dish, the only change I'd make is to decrease the breadcrumbs and increase the EVOO. We served it over rice with some crusty bread on the side. YUM!
So, that's my little Pinterest world. Thanks for reading!
I like the task cards - what a great idea! :)
ReplyDeleteThe chicken roll-ups look so yummy! I just might try that tonight! :) Thanks for the new recipe.
